Department Overview
The Treasury Department is responsible for the Firm’s overall cash management, allocation of investment opportunities and maintenance of third-party lines of credit. Primary functions within Treasury include short and long-term cash forecasting, pre-trade compliance, asset allocations, cash positioning and debt compliance. The Treasury Department collaborates closely with many internal and external partners to ensure the Firm’s financing goals are met. These partners include senior management, Structured Products, Middle Market Lending and Broadly Syndicated Loan Origination Teams, Accounting, Operations, Tax and Investor Relations, as well as, banking partners, trustees, accounting firms, administrators and rating agencies.

Position Responsibilities
−    Assist, as needed, with Treasury related activities including but not limited to:
o  Special projects requested by the Treasury Cash Management Team
o  Assist in the audit, review and maintenance of GTreasury (Treasury Management System)
o  Update daily liability activity in Wall Street Office (loan system)
o  Opening, closing and maintenance of bank accounts; provide KYC information as requested
o  Assist the Treasury Cash Management Team in forecasting expected liquidity by day and week in order to provide recommendations to senior management on the best uses of cash across the various Golub entities
o  Provide reporting on underlying loan portfolios to senior members of the Treasury team
o  Provide reporting deliverables to third party lenders as required per the underlying debt agreements
o  Ensure all deliverables are logged into centralized tracking calendar and all reporting requirements are met
o  Maintain appropriate records for data integrity
o  Liaison between Treasury and Credit Monitoring for documentation signatures and approval requests.
o  Assist Treasury Cash Management team with Audit and review of WSO liability set up
o  Provide reporting of Daily Cash and other ad hoc reporting requests

Candidate Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
−    Junior, Senior or graduate student attending local university interested in financial services
−    Ability to work full-time from mid-June to mid-August
−    Working knowledge of Excel
−    Ability to take initiative and work independently, while demonstrating strong teamwork
−    Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, manage time and priorities under pressure and meet deadlines
−    Strong communication skills, analytical and detail-oriented
